October is a wonderful month to get out and celebrate Spring and our Covid freedoms. We have Village Music tonight, our popular Craft Market tomorrow, Zumba on Election Day morning, the Eden Arts Chamber Music Festival and regular classes and meetings. It’s busy in the Village!

Kick start your Election Day morning with this high energy Let us Zumba with Sonia Happy Hour. Sonia is running a one-off class in the Hall on Saturday 17 October at 8.00am and has regular classes in the Dominion Road area. $10 cash casual entry. Zumba is a great way to get fit and have fun. Come and give it a try!
Join Mt Eden Village People at Nicholson Park, Disraeli Street, for their annual Mt Eden Fruit Trees Mulching Day on Sunday 18 October at 3.00pm. Get your wheelbarrows, gardening gloves, trowels and secateurs ready! All instructions and mulch provided. A great way to meet like minded people and support the local community.
The Eden Arts Mt Eden Chamber Music Festival is back with Festival Artistic Director Simeon Broom assembling some of the best professional chamber musicians in the country for your listening pleasure. Featuring Bach, Barber, Debussy, Rodrigo, Strauss, Smetana and Beethoven across 3 days at the end of October, the Festival will be a highlight of your Spring. More information and to book.
